NPS 24 Spring Show – April 10th 2011

Jimbo came sixth in a veteran in hand class in March with Interdressage.com, the website which allows you to compete by submitting a video. The Judge made the following comments: The Walk: Rhythmical walk- nice use of shoulders and hocks The Trot: Straight and rhythmical – nice ground coverage with freedom through shoulders and over back General Manners and Willingness: Very well mannered and willing throughout responding well to aids. Balance and Suppleness: Well balanced and reasonably supple with no loss of regularity on turns – rhythm nicely maintained throughout General Condition: Nice amount of weight – just some loss of muscle tone (age related) over back- around buttocks and over top line. At 31, he was by far the oldest pony in the class, which was won by a 15 year old. Jimbo was awarded a special rosette in recognition of this.   Show results 2010 2010 has been Fijal Giselle’s year. Having had a break from competition since coming back off loan, she has come back with a bang in 2010, being placed inhand and ridden and culminating in taking the supreme Mountain and Moorland championship at the New Forest county show.
