Welcome to Green Cottage Riding Centre & Stud!

Why not come horse riding in Dorset! Based on the outskirts of The New Forest, we offer children’s horse riding lessons, adults horse riding lessons, for beginners and experienced riders, trekking, hacking and Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).

We also offer Day Activity pony experiences, Birthday Parties, Pony Loans, Summer Camps and we occasionally have stud youngstock available for sale.

Green Cottage is a family-run, ABRS Approved riding school, livery yard and New Forest pony stud on the border between Hampshire and Dorset.

We now have a Facebook page- you can ‘like’ us for more regular updates and photos. You will see the Facebook page over to the right of page. Please click or scroll down through everything that has been posted on our Facebook page as we are always adding pictures and posts. You should be able to access all the photo albums and see comments on our Facebook page just by clicking on any photo appearing on the right of this page,

GDPR 2018….In line with the new General Data Protection Regulation, which comes into effect on the 25th May 2018, Green Cottage Riding Centre has updated our Privacy Policy and also our Riders Registration Forms. These new Riders Registration Forms must be filled out for you to be able to ride with us, to confirm your permission for your personal data to be held in accordance with the 2018 GDPR. If you are using the contact form on this website you are consenting to your data to be held in accordance to GDPR. To save some time before your next ride/ next attendance we have attached the new form for you to print and fill in. Please be aware this form is double sided. Both pages must be completed, signed and returned. We thank you for your time with these updates and advise you to allow extra time before your next ride for these forms to be completed.
